The Reproductive Infectious Diseases Program is a network of health professionals, researchers and knowledge users dedicated to advancing reproductive infectious diseases care and research internationally. Through local, national and global research collaborations, the team works to address emergent knowledge gaps and provide evidence-based guidance for the prevention, treatment, and care of reproductive infectious diseases.
The Reproductive Infectious Diseases (RID) Team is a multidisciplinary collaboration, led by Dr Deborah Money. In addition to a wide spectrum of research projects, the clinical team provides evidence-based clinical care for infectious diseases. The group employs gender and sex analysis to better understand the unique interplay between health, reproduction, and infection in girls and women.
The RID Clinic is located at BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre. The core research team is gratefully housed by the Women’s Health Research Institute, a Faculty of Medicine Centre.
