Dr. Deborah Money, the leader of the RID program, professor of OB/GYN and clinician/scientist in Reproductive Infectious Diseases, was recently honored with the Women’s Health Champion, Health Leader Award at the annual Glow Gala hosted by the BC Women’s Health Foundation (BCWHF) and RBC. This award is given to a recipient each year by the BCWHF that is dedicated to advancing women’s health and contributed to transforming healthcare for women. Her extensive research work on the topics of HPV vaccination, HIV in pregnancy, the vaginal microbiome, and COVID-19 in pregnancy and the associated studies’ impact on improving healthcare for women were highlighted when honoring her with this award.
