A new paper authored by the team behind the RID Program’s COVERED Project, which stands for The Canadian COVID-19 Vaccine Registry for Pregnant and Lactating Individuals has recently been published in the scientific journal Vaccine. This paper, which can be found here, is entitled “Reactogenicity, pregnancy outcomes, and SARS-CoV-2 infection following COVID-19 vaccination during pregnancy in Canada: A national prospective cohort study“. The paper describes the findings from data collected from Canadian pregnant women and people from July 2021 to July 2022, to understand various aspects of their experience in pregnancy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Take a look at this paper to see the fascinating insights found by the COVERED project, and if you find the study interesting and have become pregnant in 2023, consider joining the new iteration of the COVERED study which is currently recruiting!
